The Citywide Team would like to extend a thank you to all of the members who voted in the 2008 FOP election. We look forward to serving you during the next three years.

The Citywide Team is committed to continuing our pro-active representation of the membership of the FOP.  Our goal is to provide the women and men of the Chicago Police Department with the best wage and benefits package in law enforcement.  We will continue to do this through aggressive negotiations at the contract bargaining table, at City Hall, in the State Legislature and on Capitol Hill in Washington.  We will continue the fight to maintain and enhance the benefits of our retired and disabled members as well as our widows and dependants.  We will continue to encourage fraternal, educational, charitable and social activities among our members.

The Citywide Team has made up the vast majority of your FOP Board for the past six years and has attained countless accomplishments that have made your professional and personal lives better.  We have done this by taking the trust you have given us seriously as that trust exemplifies the same trust the FOP has Nationwide in securing the goals of Law Enforcement.  Don’t surrender that trust to those who have in the past, and will in the future, treat it and their involvement in this great organization as some sort of sporting event.  You deserve better and the Citywide Team has delivered in the past and you can count on them in the future.
