Officer Darrin Bourret has been a patrolman for eight years. He is currently assigned to the first district bicycle patrol/ Foot Team. He resides on the southwest side with his wife (Kathleen) and two daughters Lauren and Alyson.

Officer Bourret for the past three years has been a district unit rep and also was a watch rep. He currently is on the negotiating team and is active in the grievance committee.

Since 1989 officer Bourret has had Law Enforcement experience along with participation in other unions. He has outstanding commitment to the Chicago fraternal order of police lodge 7.and  is also committed to serving the membership.
