Jim is a thirteen year veteran of the department.  Jim spent eleven years in the 009^th District and has been assigned to the Training Division since 2005.  In 2003, Jim served as the 009^th District Tact Rep until being elected to the Board of Directors as a Trustee in 2005.  As a Trustee, Jim has served on the Audit, Grievance, Negotiating and Safety Committees.  During his career, Jim has been awarded two department Commendations, 100 Honorable Mentions, five complimentary letters and one Back Of The Yards Officer of the Month award.  Jim is currently in his tenth year as the president of the FOP Stars Hockey Club.
